Sing with us!

We are a non-audition, inclusive chorus, that sings repertoire to include all four women’s voice parts (Alto 2 to Sop 1).  Some music reading ability would be helpful, but not required. We just ask that you agree with our Mission, will adhere to our Covenant, can match pitch, and carry a tune.

We invite you to attend our first couple rehearsals in Fall or Spring and see if we appeal to you (rehearsal schedule).  The first rehearsal of each semester is a mix of business and music, where we will collect dues, hand out music (for returning members), and go over any chorus business.  We will also do some singing, but no worries, we will have a guest binder of music for your to use. At this rehearsal, we’d love to meet you, and hope we can answer any questions you might have.

At our second rehearsal, we’ll ask that you will talk with our director to make sure you are placed in the appropriate section for your voice range. Then, if we feel we are a good fit for each other, we will gather music for you, and your dues would be payable at the following rehearsal. Singers’ dues are $50/semester, and each singer will provide her own black binder for her music.

Whether you would like to attend our first rehearsal, or if you would like to start with asking some questions, please fill out this New Member Interest Survey or message us through Facebook here to let us know you are interested.  (Please do not show up to a rehearsal unannounced – we lock the doors after rehearsal begins, and we won’t know you are there.)  Thanks for your interest, and we hope to meet you soon!

Not a singer, but believe in our mission?  Please send us an email (see our Contact page) to tell us how you’d like to help! We depend on our wonderful volunteers to help at concerts, with fundraising, and with our publicity.

What to Expect at Your First Rehearsal

Walking into a new choir can feel exciting—and a little vulnerable. Here’s what you can expect:

  • A warm, welcoming group of women who remember what it’s like to be new
  • Physical and vocal warm-ups to get bodies and voices ready to sing
  • Clear instruction and guidance as we learn and shape music together
  • A focus on healthy singing, blend, and ensemble sound
  • Encouragement to listen, observe, and participate at your own pace

You do not need to have everything figured out on day one. Bring curiosity, willingness, and your voice as it is today. That is enough.

We are a diverse group of singers of all levels and will give you lots of support with part-learning tracks and rehearsals designed to make learning music easy and enjoyable. Rehearsals for our next June concert begin February 8th and are held regularly on Sunday evenings 5:45-8pm. After the third rehearsal of a semester (February 22, 2026) we ask that potential singers meet with our Director for a brief audition.
